On the 12 September 2017, Apple presented three new iPhone models at their event at the Steve Jobs Theatre. The release of these iPhones is a big leap forward for Apple.
Tim Cook proudly announced the new premium iPhone X, iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus. He mentioned that the launching of the iPhone X “will set the path for technology for the next decade.”
iPhone X
The new iPhone X will be available from the 3rd of November at a starting price of $999. Pre-shipping orders will start on the 27th of October. The cutting-edge device features a 5.8-inch edge-to-edge screen, Super Retina display, amazing graphics and resolution, built-in storage, wireless charging and facial recognition unlock ability. Due to the edge-to-edge display, there is no more Home button, but you can get to the Home screen by swiping up from the bottom of the screen, and if you want to “wake up” the phone, you can raise the phone or tap the screen.
iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus
The other two new iPhone models will be available later this month at the starting prices of $699 for the iPhone 8 and $799 for the iPhone 8 Plus. You can buy these phones in space gray, gold and silver. The iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus has 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch screens and retina HD displays. The back and the front of the phones have glass covering, which enables wireless charging.
